In the midst of creating my ideas to help the community, I have found myself in the process of rebuilding my life, as I am a domestic violence survivor. Tap the donate link below to help with any support you can. Thank you in advance!
Although, I have slowed down, I have not stopped progressing towards building my business. Any support is appreciated, as I am only one Black Woman.
I created Pretty Is As Pretty Does Non Profit to be able to meet the needs that I saw within my community. Growing up, I was involved in several youth programs within Rondo & Selby Ave. Varying from art, mentorship, sports, charities, writer's workshops, and many more opportunities. It was those opportunities that helped shape who I am and I think those opportunities are dwindling in our Black community.
Without positive encouragement from adults in my life and within those programs, I don't know where I would be in life. Then again, I do because old friends and old faces that I once knew growing up went down a different path that lead them to a life of addiction, repeated incarceration, or the end of their life altogether.
I hope that you take time to register and attend at least one event of Pretty Is As Pretty Does Non Profit.
